More Than Just a Taproom or Restaurant: Why We’re Your Neighborhood “Cheers”
March 9, 2026The Casual Pint Ocotillo, a staple of the Chandler craft beer scene, is proud to announce a transition in ownership that promises to elevate the local “Beerstro” experience while honoring the community roots that have made it a neighborhood favorite.
After years of dedicated service and community building, current owners Chad and Amy Eby (pictured far right) have reached an agreement to transition the store to a powerhouse trio of existing Casual Pint franchise leaders (pictured left to right): Scott Huskin (Hoover, AL), Jason Dettman (Huntsville, AL), and Dave Vannier (Omaha, NE).
The Team You Love Isn’t Going Anywhere While the names on the lease are changing, the faces behind the bar are not. The new ownership group is thrilled to announce that the entire staff will remain in place.
“It was vital to us that the heart and soul of this location stayed intact,” says new co-owner Scott Huskin. “We know that at The Casual Pint Beerstro, those relationships with your Beertenders are what make the experience special. We aren’t here to change the culture; we’re here to build on it.”
A Legacy in Good Hands For Chad and Amy, the decision to sell was about ensuring the future of The Casual Pint. While their schedules no longer allow for the day-to-day devotion the store deserves, they wanted to ensure their hard work continued under experienced leadership.
“We are so excited about their future plans for The Casual Pint Ocotillo and what it will bring to the community,” said Chad. “Amy and I also want to thank our community and our regulars who have become dear friends for all their loyal support over the years! You will certainly still see us at the Pint as we will be around to enjoy time with you all in the community and help support various events throughout the year. Cheers to the next chapter of The Casual Pint of Ocotillo!”
What’s Next: More Food, More Fun Guests can look forward to several enhancements in the coming months, most notably an expanded food menu. The new owners plan to integrate top-performing “Beerstro” favorites from their successful Alabama and Nebraska locations, offering a wider variety of pairings for the curated craft beer tap wall.
